Staging area at White Pine Nordic Center. Ski race on 5k loop. Bike race on 3K loop.

What: An Icebike and Skate Ski Duathlon!

Where: The Municipal Golf Course (nordic ski track), Park City

When: March 10th (7am registration opens, 7:45 racer meeting, 8 am race start)

Why: Because you're crazy and proceeds go to support the IMBA Trails Program, the National Abilities Center and the Mountain Trails Foundation

Cost: $20 bike only($25 day of), $30 Bike and Ski ($35 day of) 

More: Competitors may choose to race in both disciplines as a duathlon or just the bike. No, there is no ski only race Categories will include Male/Female (Expert, Sport, Beginner) and Singlespeed. Racers will depart in 15-30 second intervals.

Both the ski and bike races are independent and combined times will determine the winners of each category. This means that you can choose which race to do first and take you time getting ready for the second No transition zones.

The bike race will be on the northern track (North side of Thanes Canyon rd) across from the Hotel Park City. The ski race will be on the southern 5k track. Skiers expect to do one 5k lap. Bikers, laps will be determined day of depending on snow conditions (how fast the track is), but expect to ride for about an hour.

The track is not open to pre-riding for bicycles, but you can ski both tracks.
